How I did it: Before I became my own boss I was researching several career oppourtunities and noticed only one that will encourage me to place my faith first, family second and my career third, so I paid my $100.00 investment and signed up online with my Star Recruiter and became an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Lessons & tips: Before investing your funds on any kind of Career opportunity write down your short and long term goals, and always research the reputation and history of the company and its competitive edge. I did and I have been happy and successful ever since.
Resources: Online research, word of mouth, attend weekly meeting and used the products before I joined.
