How I did it: My girlfriend bought me a KORG electronic stage-piano for Christmas/birthday. I sounds great, and even better with a decent pair of headphones!

The piano wouldn't fit in our bedroom, so it's in the lounge -- all the more incentive to play. So now it's whenever I feel like it -- and occasionally I even practise (different to playing).

Of course, I'm always "learning", but that's not really the point so I'm going to say this goal is complete.
