How to share my poetry
It made me
accomplished 
"I was so nervous for the first YEAR of reading in public i almost wet myself every single time, but the applause and audience members approaching me after reading was unexpected and really encouraging. "
How I did it: Found out where poetry readings were being held in the city and signed myself up. Having a glass of wine first helps immensely with the butterflies ;).
Lessons & tips: Practice before you get onstage. To friends, in front of a mirror, whatever. Speak slooooowwwllyyyyy. Find your rhythm. Make eye contact with the audience.
