How to do my taxes

How I did it:
- Got all forms together.
- Decided not to itemize
- Found an online tax service that was reputable.
- Logged on and imported past years filings.
- Set new password and user name.
- Completed Federal and State forms.
- Paid for state submission.
- Filled out FASFA
- Made copies.
- Sent in what forms needed sending in.
- Archived all PDFs and encrypted files.
- Moved files offline.
Lessons & tips:
- Don't procrastinate.
- If you don't owe, you can take your time.
- If you do own, don't worry, pay what you can.
- Refunds and withdraws can be made electronically.
- DANGER- your credit card looks at paying your taxis as a CASH ADVANCE and charges you as such.
