How to go to an anime convention.
How I did it: I booked a cheap hotel(hotel carter) in the center of Times Square N.Y and bought my online weekend pass for the New York Anime Festival which occured Sept-26th-28th 2009. It was so different and so much fun that I'm going to these conventions every year from now on!!!!
Lessons & tips: By weekend tickets because it's better than a one day ticket and do it online. Book a nice cheap hotel or hostel and travel around the city as well as enjoy the convention. Make sure you go with a costume so people can want to take a picture with you and you wont feel left out. Bring tons of money for some rare cool items sold at the booths like kimonos,clothing, drawings, costumes,video games e.t.c. Just have fun!!!!!!
