How to stop drinking
How I did it: Wanna hear something terrible? I was an alcoholic at 12. I was drinking hard every night and by 13, it was difficult to get the same feeling that I did in the beginning. I'd drink a thirty brick throughout the day and when you're only 100 pounds and drinking 15 beers doesn't get you drunk, you know there's something wrong. My friends stopped wanting to party with me so I'd drink alone in my room. I had an awakening the day I got caught selling pills in school to buy more booze. I was fifteen.
I really haven't drank since then. At all. I had some counseling but I don't think that would have really helped if I didn't have the motivation to quit on my own. I knew it was screwing up my body and I was sick of the life.
Trust me, if I can do it, you can. I have like almost absolutely no will power.
Lessons & tips: Think of the reasons you wanna quit. Think of the people you're hurting and what you're doing to yourself.
Eliminate all the people who influence you or think it's okay to drink. Some of these people may be your friends, but you won't be able to be around alcohol for a while.
