How to move out (eventually)
How I did it: A guy friend of mine needed a roommate to help pay the bills at his apartment. My other friend wanted to move out cause she was sleeping on a couch at her mom's after she broke up with her boyfriend and moved out of his place. So we moved in to his place. Sucked cause we had to share a room and maybe a month after moving in she got a boyfriend who ended up spending pretty much every night at our apartment in OUR bed, so I got booted to the couch. Drifted from her a little, but on the plus side, my guy friend that we moved in with is now my BEST friend and love him to death. We all moved back home due to conflicting personalities and lifestyles and money (kinda). My car was on it's way out so I decided I need to move home to save up money for a car. And after that save up for a house of my own. Don't think I want a roommate again, unless it's my significant other, who I haven't really found yet.
Lessons & tips: Be careful who you move in with. That's really all I can say. And having a little bit of savings would help just in case.
