How I did it: I had just too many things in my garage. It took me a while to truly decide to run with this but when I did my first item was sold less than 12 hours later.
Lessons & tips: include pictures and as many details as possible. This was my picture for the first item to sell.
I actually sold 2 of my drill presses and he took a grinder stand that I was going to have the scrap metal dealer come get.
The karmic thing about this was the guy who bought them was buying them for his son to do leatherwork – exactly what I used them for beginning 15 years ago.
I still have the jig saw and table saw for sale but only for this week. I want them out of my garage soon.
The table saw found a new owner too. Now I need to finish arranging the shop so I can work. I have a very heavy filing cabinet that I need to get rid of too. I have a scrap metal dealer that will take it free but I would really rather someone who would use it take it. I guess I need to try “freecycle”
