How to memorize a poem
It made me
frumious and manxome 
"It's nice to have a poem I can pull out of memory and recite from start to finish on demand."
How I did it:
- Go stanza by stanza.
- Read it aloud so you can hear it while you're reading it
- Try to recite the stanza you just read from memory.
- Start from the beginning each time, and go back and check if you're not sure about something so that you don't risk reinforcing mistakes.
