How to learn to surf

Laugh at myself 
"Hard but so much fun - I suck but still enjoy the water, especially on vacation."
How I did it: I went to Mexico and rented a house and a board for a week and just went for it. The water was so warm and the break was nice and small. I had a blast. We try to go back every year. Next year I'd like to go to Honolulu. I've never been there yet.
