How to ride a motorcycle
"My now husband taught me on a two stroke 70's Yamaha - one of my best memories of being in love."
How I did it: Mostly, I just let my husband guide me while he sat behind me correcting my movements until I got the clutching right and felt comfortable with the weight of the bike. It's not very intuitive for most folks so it's important to be safe, wear a helmet and pay attention to your instructor. I never took the actual test. I should though I'd love to ride dirt bikes some summer. The most difficult part was driving in little circles and clutching without putting your foot down or stalling the bike- whooh hard!
Lessons & tips: Take a class it's worth it and most places help you get ready for the riding exam at the DMV. Don't forget your helmet.
