How I did it: I bought Thomas Ashley Farrand's Mantra CD set and learned several mantras. I then downloaded various bhajans/kirtans that use the mantra and practiced chanting along on my way to work.
Lessons & tips: The CD set was very instructive. I highly recommend it.
