Wow that sounds exactly like what i had to deal with while living with 5 other people in a large house. I didnt even mind cleaning up after them as much as I minded having to go through the garbage to salvage all of the recyclables on a constant basis. And they would fill up the recycle bins with trash. They would basically reach for whatever was closest to them at the time regardless of what they intended to dispose of. And they would leave the ac blasting all day with no one home, and the lights on all night. It was especially aggravating since they talked the talk of being ecological but they couldnt do the most basic simple actions to back it up. I was constantly leaving my passive-aggressive notes around to remind them and guilt trip them and it blew up into huge fights a few times. Now I live in a smaller place (less to clean) with 2 other people who think more like I do. What a relief.
