How to transfer to a four year university

How I did it: I spent the first 2 years that I was in JC just wasting time, taking fun classes that didn't really count for much. My 3rd year into it, I realized that I had been there for 3 years and that I should probably start doing something with myself. So I finished up in another 2 years and transfered to a state school. I still have a couple of years ahead of me, but I'm glad I'm not at the back of the pack anymore.
