How to appreciate what I have
"many magnificent moments"
How I did it: when i feel self pity, i start to listen my blessings on paper. 10 every evening (5 works also).
the shift comes surprisingly quick. after a couple of days i start embracing life again and soon forget about the list.
till now, it worked every time.
plus, after having done this a couple of times, i have this super list of all the good things that happened in my life.
now i also use twitter.
on the list, everything goes. i don't have to be original. i also list personal achievements. it is also cool to see how what once was an achievement (go me) is now a habit (go flylady).
Lessons & tips: i bet this also works if you only list one good thing a day. it may take a while longer.
