How to build my website
How I did it: Well, it's not that complicated; I had already done some website, so it was only to get doing it again.
The point was: I wanted something more professionnal, without all these commercial and with all the liberty I wanted from my website. I read a lot on the Xhtml, as I was used with the old Html, and then I started to work on it with the help of my girlfriend, which suggested some design ideas (and it was, in fact, the main thing I had to change).
After those three things are fullfilled: Have a subject; Learn how to program website; Have a good design in mind,
all that stay is to decide how far you want to go in it. Has my website was for my little home enterprise, I decided to stop using free host and bought me a real one. Although it's a cheap one, it is more then enough for me!
I'm not quite done with my website, but it's started!
Lessons & tips: First, stop and ask you these questions:
What is your subject; what do you want to create?
How will you present your subject (Design)?
What (program, knowledge) do you need to do so?
After that, search the web, your friends and books to learn what you have to learn, and start!
The main problem I faced was that I often sat in front of my computer, worked on a idea, but had never made a plan, so most of this work was almost wortless.
