How I did it: Because I am an educator, I was granted a Fulbright Seminar to Mexico and Peru. We spent a day at Machu Picchu. We grabbed the train then took a bus. Then we wandered around for the day and rain to the top of the young peak.  Even if it is supposed to rain a bit, go!

Lessons & tips: Get there as early as possible if you want to climb the peaks. They only let a limited number of people climb each day.
