How to buy a video camera
How I did it: I went to Best Buy and looked online for some reviews. I was planning on buying a camcorder online, but needed one to enter a $10,000 scholarship contest that ends tomorrow, so I decided to go ahead and get it. I REALLY love the camera, but trying to get it to work with my crappy imovie on my old Powerbook has been nothing but two days of hassle! I FINALLY thought I figured it out (after purchasing a $22 software download from Apple) so I filmed all of the footage for my video and spent several hours editing only to find the picture quality is CRAP when it is exported!!!! I'm talking. . . moire patterns, purple skin, and glowing edges CRAP! :P
Lessons & tips: Do your research if you have a MAC and don't have professional video editing software such as Final Cut Pro.
