How to get up earlier
How I did it: I started by cutting down on caffeine at night. I didn't realize how much soda made an impact on my sleepiness until I stopped drinking it after 5 pm. I started using my cell phone as my alarm clock as well. This can prove to be useful if the power goes out in the night. I have 5 different times I can set my alarm and I set them in 15 minute increments. It took a couple of months but I am now getting up a good 45 minutes earlier than I used to. It feels good getting to work on time :)
