How I did it: I used a nail buffer. Kept the pretty so when I went to bite I'd look and admire them instead. LOL It worked and wasn't too hard. It helps to keep them filed and trim while stopping. I know for me I still bite them off if I get a toren nail and don't have clippers handy.
I had tried everything painting them so the taste was too much. Painting them for strength so they wouldn't break. Finally they got a lot stronger when I stopped biting them.
