How I did it: Diet and exersize
i halved my portion sizes- which was actually easy when i thought about how much i was eating and taking notice of when i was full. i still eat treats but not so much- i basically eat in mrderation- i have 1 day a week where i eat what i like (a wednesday). I also make sure i have my 5 a day- which really does make a difference. I also keep a food diary- which helps me stay on track
Exercize wise, i started walking everywhere, which as well as being cheap is very good at buring fat and using calories (20 mins brisk walk = 200 cals) i just put on my ipod and away i go. On a saturday i take my dog for a 2hr walk in the local woods. I joined a gym too, I go twice a week for a hour at a time, rowing is very good for burning cals and toning your arms and abs- i also adore the cross trainer, which is a good all rounder
Lessons & tips: Set yourself small managable goals such as - 'im going to eat chocolate once a week and walk for at least 1/2 a hr each day for a month' then up the exersize time the longer you go on
Resources: My ipod, water, my dog, my friends (who accompion me on v.long walks) and the internet where i looked at the calories in food and how many cals and fat the exersizes i choose burn
