How to decide if i want to become a teacher or not
"I decided that staying up late, waking up at at a normal-person hour, and not going crazy with a never-ending stack of paperwork was ultimately what I wanted."
How I did it: At twenty-three (when I made this decision) I realized that I was not ready to sacrifice my life to teach others. I also found a job that allows me to work in the field of education while making more money than I would as a double-certified, skilled teacher, with a Master's Degree.
It may be selfish and shallow, but I wasn't ready to give up my perceived "independence."
