How to pay my bills on time
How I did it: Since I moved out when I was 18, I have had trouble getting my bills paid on time. Having 1/2 paper bills, 1/2 paperless, and even a couple where I don't receive a bill at all - it has been a hassle to keep track of what I owe where and when.
So, over a month I called places - found out the exact amount I owed a month and on what day then entered that information into a list on rememberthemilk.com.
I set the due date as the time the bills were due and formatted the title like this "Phone Bill - $100.00 (253.555.5555)" and "Rent - $800.00"
Amazing! Now it is all in front of me, I check RTM everyday so I see it everyday and even if i don't check it I can set RTM to remind me a week before, a couple days before, whatever I want.
