This goal is cool. not many people can say they’ve done this.
How I did it: Me and my good friend from college went together. We stopped in various cities we wanted to see all the way out to California and then headed back taking a different route on the way home.
Lessons & tips: Go with someone. It is more fun to share the experience and it helps minimize costs. Stay aware of the weather when traveling. Keep an open mind, have fun and last but not least be flexible to changes in plans.

of course….I had a blast in Austin, TX. Very fun city. I really loved California (esp. Venice Beach and San Fransisco, and Sedona, Arizona was amazing with the red rocks!
