How to improve my memory
How I did it: I kept a journal and wrote everything worth remembering down. Most of the contents were about my life, my thought and funny things my cats did. I tried my best to make it short and to the point, so that I wouldn't feel stressed and was more willing to write stuff down.
In order to record things and my thoughts, I became more careful and payed more attention to every things which I thought were important. That improved my memory.
When I was writing my diary, I was forced to remember thigs. I didn't used to it. Usually my head is like a vacuum tube, I only had present thoughts, and my thoughts were like meteorites, disappeared so fast. So keeping a journal really helped me remember things.
I reviewed my diary often. That also helped.
I also built a system to track my to-do list and wrote important things I couldn't forget all in one notebook. It was very handy. I even drew maps on the notebook when I went to somewhere I hadn't been to before.
