How to change my hair color
How I did it: I'm a brunette with darkbrown eyes and on the 1st of January I died it blonde for a 'fresh, new start'.
It didn't look awful on me (okay, maybe it did :p), but after a month my natural haircolor came back at the roots... it looked terrible! I died it even lighter, at one moment I went to a cheap hairdresser and I said I wanted the ''yellowish'' out. So she just died it lighter and I had platinumblonde hair :O! It looked superfake and I was so insecure about my hair. But not for long, because 4 days later I walked in to a local drugstore and bought the first brown hair dye I saw. I knew it could turn out green or blue, but I didn't give a shit because I already looked like an idiot. And I'm happy I took the risk because it turned out beautiful and I'm soooo happy I'm brunette again! I'm never ever gonna dye my hair blonde in my entire life! Although I think blonde is a beautiful haircolor, but not for me ;)
Lessons & tips: Blonde will not look natural if your natural haircolor is (dark)brown or black, believe me. Ofcourse there will be exceptions, but it doesn't with most of the ''darkerhaired'' people.
