How to ride on a camel
"Unique and interesting... especially when you're in Giza."
How I did it:
I just came back from Egypt and I was able to ride a camel near the
pyramids. The camels smell bad. Standing next to a camel, you don’t
realize how tall the camel is, until you’re actually mounted on one!
Aside from the smell, the experience was pretty cool. I wish I could
say the same for others on my trip…While my cousin was posing in
front of a camel for a picture, the camel swooped down and bit her
head. Thank goodness the camel’s teeth are flat, and did not pierce
her. Her hair was covered with camel slobber though, and was bruised. My mother and my aunt tried to ride on the same camel, and it only ended up being REALLY
uncomfortable for them. There’s not enough room on the saddle for two
butts, nor is there anything for the person in the back to hold on to,
aside from the person sitting in front of them.I would recommend
the experience, especially at Giza just for the cool picture. Just
don’t keep your back turned to one for two long, and don’t attempt to
ride two people on one camel’s back. =)
Lessons & tips: I would recommend
the experience, especially at Giza just for the cool picture. Just
