How to crochet the daisy charity square by Sunrae

"Difficult pattern to follow but end result worth the time and effort!"

How I did it: I followed Krystal's pattern for the first two Daisy Charity Squares that I made.  The first two squares I made had mistakes because the pattern has a lot of added information that I found confusing.  While crocheting my third square I re-wrote the pattern so that it's clear and direct.  Don't get me wrong, Krystal did a fantastic job designing this square, it's amazing.  I just simplified it to make it easier for myself.

Lessons & tips:

  • Instead of using the original yarn designations CA, CB, CC, and CD, I changed it to 1, 2, 3, and 4.
  • I also re-numbered the rounds of the pattern from 1 to 12 instead of using the 4A, 4B, etc that's used in the original pattern.

    I apologize for the delay in responding. I contacted Krystal about sharing the pattern and have been waiting for her to respond. She let me know yesterday (6/20/11) that she has re-posted my version of her pattern in the KrochetKrystal group files and will leave it there for a week so that members can download it.
