"Its great to go out there an explore your creativity, with the video AND the editing. The emotional high is great."
How I did it: With the rise of vlogs on the internet, I always wanted to jump on the bandwagon but the thing was, I was so conscious of the things I said being boring and all in all, being judged by the general public. The internet is a damn cruel place, and I didn't know if I could take that kind of pressure. Well, my friend Amanda decided to do a video, a medley really, of her high school experience, and I enjoyed watching her videos because I was around her when those things happened and I decided that I should make a video. I vowed to not let the number of views get in the way of me promoting my video, or making further ones.
I must admit, I've had many many manyyyy takes on certain parts and even with those takes, I wasn't fully satisfied with the results. I thought the most fun part, probably also the longest, was the editing process. I never knew imovie was such a saint. They make putting text and song into something wildly easy, it just takes a little time to get used to.
Another thing I was worried about was having my friends see it. Of course, their opinion means more to me than the other billions of people out there, so if you think you'll be embarrassed that your friends will find you, just don't tell them about it.
I would definitely continue this vlogging thing if I had the time, or the creativity, but for one, one is good.
I'm glad I got the item off my list.
