"Those who watch you dance will gain direct insight into your character. I wish I were comfortable enough with dancing to not have learned that."
How I did it: Alcohol. After ten years of painful memories associated with dancing, I can finally dance (not just once, but comfortably). Family members tried to teach me at differnt family functions, however there was too much pressure as everyone knew my history with it. Once I was legal, my friends took me out to a club and after drinking a little bit, i was comfortable enough to dance with them after all pressure was alleviated. Unfortunately, I cannot dance in any other circumstance unless I have had a few drinks, which means, unfortunately, that I don't really get to experience it the natural way.
Lessons & tips: Do it while you're young, while you're free and while nobody's watching. As you grow older, refine your moves and behaviour for when someone is.
Resources: What helped me: Friends, Fun Music
What didn't help me: Parents, Pressure
