How to without stressing... without rushing... be on time
How I did it: The factor that really made it click for me was a late night MSN conversation with my boss where the following words came across the screen.
If you want to advance in the company, stop being late.
Stop. Being. Late.
And, though it didn't change the way I did things at once, the words stayed in my brain and planted a seed that years and years of my friends harping at me somehow didn't manage to get sunk into my head
Lessons & tips: Set a time limit for when you need to be out of the house. Follow it. Follow it. Follow it.
Learn what to do with "dead" time. People who are late very often hate when others are late, it comes from a fear of downtime / hating waiting with nothing to do. I learned that I like getting into work early because it lets me catch up with my coworkers.
Learn to calm down and slow down and how good it feels not to be dashing out the door and JUST JUST catching the bus.
