I got an IB “certificate” 6 years ago because I didn’t feel like finishing the requirements.
I hate to say it, but it will not do you ANY good in the future, other than getting some college credits out of the way.
Nobody is going to care at all, ever, that you have an IB high school diploma. Most people won’t even know what it is. Sorry.

You couldn’t be more correct, no one cares about the IB after getting into an university. And for you it did sound like a big waste of time.
However, I applied to the UK, and getting into the university requires a certain amount of points from the IB. No ridiculous SATS or entrance exams to get in.
So yeah, the IB did some good. AND all the math, physics, biology and chemistry I learned sure didn’t do any damage to my career in medicine :)
