How to beat depression
How I did it: Strange to say, but once I was laid off from my job, I had the time and energy to commit to resolving this. I was diligent about taking my meds every day, I volunteered, I spent time with friends and family, journaled, exercised, lost some weight and kept on keeping on.
Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to change *everything*
Exercise is critical, but really, really hard.
Really, really hard doesn't make something optional.
Adherence to meds is key.
