How I did it: I quit my job, kept a decent relationship with my former employer and I still pull in work from them. I also built a few sites that generate automated revenue and hope to build more as I get more time. I am building a business website and redoing my personal website. I have also built a decent network of other business owners in my niche.
Lessons & tips: You have to force this one, I read a lot of business and motivational books before I did it. I think I was just buying time. You just have to believe that you can do it, and then do it.
