How to turn spare bedroom into nursery

"From carpeted generic white room to beautiful nursery in 6 weeks, in time for our first child to arrive!"
How I did it: With help from friends, we removed the rug and trim, masked and painted the room, then installed laminate flooring, reinstalled new trim, and my best friend painted a beautiful mural for our soon-to-arrive daughter. We picked out some furniture, assembled and put in place : book case, changing table, crib, and rocking chair + ottoman. Finished hanging curtains yesterday. It's a totally transformed space!
