How to move to the country
How I did it: Instead of buying or leasing land, we've purchased and RV, and soon we will live there full-time. This will allow us freedom to travel that we've never had before. We'll be able to visit the entire country as a result, not just our own little piece of it. I'll live vicariously through others who are living on the land. In the meantime, my goal will be to leave as small a footprint as possible so as to disturb as little of the natural world as I can, preserving the countryside for others.
Lessons & tips: I'm not sure what to say here except that they can take the girl out of the country, but they can't take the country out of the girl. I may be living on the road, but my heart is still on a cattle ranch in South Texas, the place I grew up.
Resources: Again, letting go of a dream only requires a shift in perspective. What I"m gaining balances out what I'm giving up.
