How to survive my divorce
How I did it: Threw myself into other things. Concentrated on work, social activities and finding myself again (for a minute there, I'd lost myself). It was awful... some nights I'd go for a drive so I could listen to loud music and cry without my neighbours hearing... but I got there in the end and I've realised that I'm a happier person without him - and a nicer person too, as I'm not starting each day with the stress he constantly put on me so I can deal with things with more patience.
Lessons & tips: One day at a time... one day at a time.
