How to pre-cook a week's worth of meals and freeze them

How I did it: I decided on a menu, shopped for the ingredients and devoted an entire day to cooking up a storm. The result: a week's worth of meals in my freezer, ready to reheat and eat after a hard day at work. Awesome! And I actually ended up with more than 7 days worth, as some of my recipes yielded several serves.
Lessons & tips: Plan a menu, work out what you'll need and shop for those items. A slow cooker is an excellent way to make bulk servings for freezing.
