How I did it: For three years I hadn't had a haircut.. My father told me of this girl at our church who used to have extremely long hair, and why it was so short now. Her mother told my father that she cut it all off and donated it to Locks of Love, and I immediately became inspired! I let my hair grow a little while longer, then on a whim, ran to the nearest haircut salon, had it all cut off, and sent it off to Florida in less than a week. It was a wonderful feeling, and I'm very glad that I pulled through with it.
