How I did it: Tore out the old tile, plaster, and fixtures.  Rewired the electric.  Changed the plumbing for the wall mount faucet.  Put recessed fixtures in the ceiling.  Put up new drywall, bamboo backsplash, tiled the bottom of the room.  New flooring, new trim carpentry, new medicine cabinets.  Plumbed in the faucet and sink.  

Resources: The internet was super.  I found pretty much everything I used on the internet.  The flooring was the only thing I purchased locally because the shipping was outrageous.
