How to see a shooting star by julie casady

"It fell and suddenly disappeared from sight, leaving its single taste of hope..."

How I did it: I was sat in a bench with two friends watching the sky and the sea right in front of us. Suddenly it started falling in the exact place I was looking at. It was a cloudless night, the sky was full of beautiful shiny stars. It was wonderful. As soon as I saw it, it was gone.

Lessons & tips: Just look patiently at the sky on a real starry night. And, when you see it, don't think about it, just wish quickly!

Shooting star sent from my friend

Thanks for sharing your story. I recently saw one and it made me very hopeful as well. I was mourning a friend who had just past. And in a moment of despair I was waiting at a stop light and just as I looked up, it was there and gone, just as you described. I instantly felt that everything was going to be okay. It would have been just like my friend to do something to cheer me up.

Hope

Yes… I think it always has this tiny glint of hope. I am in a sad situation too. I saw it this friday, the night after my boyfriend broke up with me. I was going crazy, the feeling of despair you mentioned, but ten times worse, because I have a serious personality disorder. But then it showed up to me. I made my wish and in that moment I knew everything would be alright. I still do.
