How to meditate every day
How I did it: After having read about it so many times, i made a first attempt a few years ago, but even though it felt great, i couldn't get a 'rhythm' going... But some months back, a lot of spiritual stuff fell into place and meditation seemed a logical thing to do.
Every evening now, i put a few minutes aside, get my special cushion out, close the door of my bedroom and get going. Sit there, still, breath, focus - and 'wake up' full of beans...
Lessons & tips: - find the right time of day - it really makes a difference if you get that right. I tried the mornings, but felt too dozy... In the evening, when peace returns to the house, appears to be my good time...
- read up a bit on it, find a method that suits you. But not too much - there's so many different ways...
- just begin...
- don't worry too much about your inner voice that just won't shut up. It will get less, and as with everything: practice makes perfect... :-)
