How to drive across the USA
How I did it: Someday I'd still like to have one road trip where I cross the entire nation, but I've crossed it more than once already by combining various trips. I've driven every inch of Interstate 40, and the vast majority of I-70, I-10, I-90, and plenty of big and little roads that connect them together.
I've also crossed the country in airplanes a multitude of times. And where the views are certainly different and have their own appeal, I prefer it in a car.
Lessons & tips: Go with friends. Go slow. Soak it all up. And then do it again.
Resources: Google Maps. Remember to zoom in and adjust the route so you don't spend the entire trip on 'the fastest route'. And have plenty of destinations along the way so that "the other coast" is not your only destination. There is LOADS to see here. You'll never see it all, but you can try ;)
