How to go to a Eastern European hot spring

"It was a strange journey, but totally enjoyable. Went to a more natural spring and then one in a pool, with rowdy Romanian teenagers. Also I guess it made my skin reallly reallly soft."
How I did it: Flew to Budapest, travelled via Arad to Baile herculane in Romania, walked all day looking for natural springs, and it was so so fun. The water we found was hot, stinky, and apparently theraputic. A great great day.
