admiralgirl REALLY needs to do her hmwrk...but probably won't

learning!

there is a boy at my school who always has an interpreter with him…he’s not deaf…and i know very little sign language(that’s why i’m learning!) but he does have trouble hearing…so the few times I learned enuf to talk to him I spoke and signed at the same time…I wonder if that would be good for any deaf person if they could read lips, so that way they could read lips and sign at the same time, or wood it be 2 confusing to follow my hands and lips at the same time?

I won't let go of this goal!

This is something that I really really want to do at some point!
Apart from the fact that it would be really useful if I met deaf people etc. Also, cause I want to work with disabled people when I leave school…I think it’s really beautiful. I’m totally fascinated by hands, and i’ve seen sign language it’s so elegant. I love it!
A little while ago, I saw two people on the train, and because it was crowded, they were sitting on different sides of the carriage, but they were signing to each other! It was fantastic!!!
I want to do that :)

thanks for posting that you used signing for dummies, I just bought it yesterday after reading your post and saying you used it and it worked well for you. Hope it does the same for me :) thanks

Someday!

I would absolutely love to learn to sign someday!

Im very envious of u all that are managing it!

One day I will begin to learn, when I feel that I can handle it. Tofu bunny ur right it is very elegant to see, fascinating!
