"Got tired of painful visits to the dentist."
How I did it: It was very simple. One day I went to the dentist and she destroyed my mouth. She had to really get in there, mainly because I was too lazy to floss. It hurt like hell. As soon as I walked out of there I promised myself that I would floss every day from then on. And I pretty much have. It's like anything else, you tell yourself your going to stick to something, and after a while it becomes a part of life and is no big deal. It's funny, I haven't been on this site for a while, and I just checked back in and laughed at the fact that I had had so much trouble in the past. I'm flossin' son. Another funny note is that I started drinking large quantities of coffee arounf the same time I started flossing regularly. So now I floss every day while having the brownest teeth I've ever had. Ha
Lessons & tips: Get a routine going. My shower takes a while to heat up. So I turn it on, floss real quick and then hop in. No big deal.
