How to be a better student, with better grades
How I did it: When it comes down to it...I believe that it was hard work and determination that helped me to succeed. This was my second degree and although my first attempt at a college education was lackluster, I knew all along that I had it in me to flourish in the world of academia!
All it took was a few years--years that allowed me to see education as a privilege rather than a chore. By the time I returned to school, I had decided that I was doing this for me and not for my parents. I think this outlook changed my whole perspective, as well as my expectations of myself.
Lessons & tips: The best tip I can give anyone is to keep lines of communication open with their instructors. This greatly reduces any chance of mishaps...and we all know how costly those can be.
