How I did it: Study abroad with my junior college. I highly recommend traveling like this. The college set everything up for us and because we were in a group it was much cheaper. Plus we studied marine biology and snorkeled everyday! Great way to learn and travel.
Lessons & tips: Visit some of the less touristy islands they are just a beautiful and way more peaceful.
