How to bake a pie
"I felt connected to my grandma and very domestic"
How I did it: It just took patience and a lot of arm strength to work the dough. I made an apple pie, and I added brown sugar and water/lemon juice to the apples. I didn't add any butter to the filling, and it tasted really good despite (I accidentally left it out, I admit it) The dough was tricky, and I had to roll it out a few times to get it the right thickness and size. I didn't really care about getting the pie to look uniform, so I think it came out fine (but it looked a little rustic)
Lessons & tips: lots of flour for the pie crust roll out
