How to become a vegan
How I did it: I've been a vegan for about nine months now. I had already been a vegetarian for over six years and, after researching the ethics behind veganism, I realised I was perfectly suited to the lifestyle. Having already avoided meat for years, I gave up dairy overnight and haven't looked back since.
Lessons & tips: If you want to do it, do it! People who make this choice for the right reasons will never struggle to remember why. You'll completely rediscover cooking once you adhere to the limitations as well as realise a new variety of foods available to you. The hardest part is convincing others you've made the right choice, so do your research on nutrition as well as ethics.
